The OPM Humanitarian Criminals are very barbaric by inhumanely killing and burning alive 6 teachers in the teacher’s house, even unmitigated OPM hordes at the same time burned 4 school buildings and 1 teacher’s house in Anggruk Village, Anggruk District, Yahukimo Regency, Friday (21/3/2025)
This was conveyed by the Head of Information of Kodam (Kapendam) XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf Candra Kurniawan, S.E., M.M, when confirmed, Saturday (22/3/2025).
“OPM criminals of humanity are really very barbaric inhumanity has killed and burned alive 6 teachers, burned school buildings and teachers’ houses. Even extorting and robbing money from the surrounding community. Where is the human rights justice for these victims,” said Kapendam.
“The results of confirmation in the field are that this OPM gang is armed to terrorize the surrounding community. Currently the victims who were killed and burned have not been evacuated. But the security forces continue to try to evacuate as soon as possible.”
“The names of the temporary victims collected are 4 people, namely Sister T (teacher), Sister F (teacher), Brother F (teacher) and Sister I (health worker), while 2 other people are still being recorded,” he added.
Colonel Candra further said that the condition of the other survivors is still unknown. As a result of this barbaric OPM action, the health workers and teachers were anxious and asked to be evacuated.
“Today, Saturday (22/3), teachers and health workers from Heriyapini District, Kosarek District, Ubalihi District, Nisikni District, Walma District and Kabiyanggama District, Yahukimo Regency have been evacuated using Adventist Aviation aircraft totaling 58 people, 4 children and 1 civilian through Wamena airport,” said Kapendam.
